Dynamic Lighting is a tool that can really enhance game play.

Using the drawing tools on the Dynamic Lighting layer Game Masters (GMs) can add lines that block light emitted from tokens.  Used with the fog of war tools a GM can create a very immersive experience.

Step one: Create or import a Map to the map layer

Step two: use the polygon tool to draw lines over the walls on the Dynamic Lighting layer. Hint: try to avoid drawing lines over  doors and other openings.  Use one color for the walls (I use a red) and a different color (I use green) for doors. This way it is easy to see the walls on the Dynamic Lighting layer and pick out doors

Step three: Test.  Add a token and set the token to emit light (you can play with these to set full and dim light settings).
