[edit] Starting a New Page

It is unclear how to start a new Guide. I want to add a very few tips for running Fate Core RPG. The text says:

To add a page to this list, type (double square-brackets) Category:Guides (double-square brackets) at the bottom of the page you want to add to this list, ie on the bottom of the Pathfinder page.

But how do I start a new page? Does the text above mean I should type on an existing page and it will fragment off the old page? It is unclear.Pierre S. (talk) 21:45, 15 April 2015 (EDT)

Try searching for the page you want to create. ie "Fate Core" and look for the option to create the page.

Create the page "Fate core" on this wiki!

After you have created your page/guide, find other relevant sections of the wiki and edit those pages to include links to your newly created guide.

It works, thanks! When I searched for Fate Core it gave me the option to start a page and I put the Category: Guides in double square-brackets at the bottom.

I discuss only a few Fate Core adaptations I have made to Roll20. Where on the Help Wiki outside the guides would there be any need to link to it in particular? Thanks again. Pierre S. (talk) 23:41, 18 April 2015 (EDT)

It looks like your page has been added to the Category:Guides If you read thru the wiki and find a reference to Fate Core or something similar, you could edit the page and add a link to your guide. Thanks for sharing. Vince (talk) 04:52, 19 April 2015 (EDT)

Oops! I goofed. I wanted to start a Guide for "Baroque Space Opera" but tacked the text onto the top of the whole System Specific Guide. Please edit that out. --Pierre S.
