Biography

Gorebad began playing Dungeons and Dragons in 1979. His first experience behind the DM screen was in 1980 when he received a copy of Dungeons and Dragons for his birthday. Gorebad was involved in running games for Gen Con Europe back in the mid 90s and spent a good deal of time working directly with some of TSR's in-house game masters to hone his craft. He owned a gaming store in Hastings, England, where he was able to simultaneously indulge his hobby and earn a living. While Dungeons and Dragons had always been his primary game of choice, he has run over eighty different gaming systems.

In 2000 he emigrated to the US, and continued to be involved in gaming. He began live streaming in 2013 and in late September 2014 he launched a pen and paper live stream on twitch.tv. Due to the popularity of Howreroll, the show was partnered with Twitch just four short months later.

Howreroll is a story driven Dungeons and Dragons show that many refer to as "a live internet TV drama" rather than just another live stream. Howreroll brings rich and exciting stories to life with the aid of complete graphical maps and icons for EVERY scene that the cast find themselves in. All this is put together using roll20.net.
